An Unforgettable St. Louis Wedding

Their Love Story Begins

Katherine and Josh met at work and were friends for some time before taking a chance of love. They honestly never expected to find their way together to marriage, but according to Katherine, "Love takes you crazy places sometimes."

Josh and Katherine both have a true love for travel, and 2016 was a year of many adventures. Katherine's upcoming family vacation seemed like the perfect place to pop the question. "What better time to ask (Katherine) to make me the happiest man on the planet?" thought Josh.

Beachside and nearing the end of their vacation with the sun and wind in their hair, Josh snuck Katherine away from family pictures down on the beach and popped the question. Of course the answer was yes, quickly followed by lots of happy tears from the whole family. 

Their Elegant Haue Valley Wedding

Katherine and Josh planned their wedding from Springfield, Missouri with impeccable detail. According to Katherine, they chose to celebrate their big day at Haue Valley because "the land and venue are absolutely gorgeous, and the Haue Valley team is so people-oriented," said Katherine. "They were also extremely flexible and allowed us the opportunity to come in at a private time to plan for the wedding since we lived out of town. No other venue would have been so accommodating." 

Their ceremony took place on October 1, 2017, as the first of many weddings we are looking forward to celebrating on the new Haue Valley dedicated ceremony patio. They chose to utilize Haue Valley's giant floral ring and the north end of the patio farm view as the backdrop to their beautiful ceremony.The pictures really do speak 1,000 words, and the moments were captured beautifully by AP Photography. 

We are still swooning over Katherine's dress from Signature Bridal and Josh's navy tux from Savvi Formalwear. Both were accented perfectly with florals from Wildflowers.

The couple really knows how to throw a good party and after dinner catered by Two Mike's Catering, the dance floor was packed with music provided by Elite Pro DJ. It was certainly a night to remember.
