Time Blocks and Timelines for Your Big Day at Haue Valley!
Time blocks for the venue rental are consecutive hours and vary slightly based on the day you are renting the venue. Having a clearly defined timeline can help you make the most of your wedding day and is also designed to be good to our neighbors. Even if hiccups happen and things have to adjust, having a good plan makes the day feel more relaxed. In our years of experience, a well organized day and happy neighbors have made for easier wedding days!

Friday weddings also have the option to add 3PM-9PM access on the Thursday before the wedding for an additional $1,000.

Timelines
We do have a few requirements for your Time Lines to keep in mind, especially in the beginning stages of planning your wedding:
We ask that you plan to have a MINIMUM of 2.5 hours from the start of the ceremony to the start of the rental time. 3 hours is more ideal. This will give you and your bridal party and decorating team plenty of time to set up, take photos etc without feeling rushed.
The start of the ceremony time will be heavily influenced by whether or not you choose First Look Photos.
We are currently giving brides and the bridal party (over the age of 12) access to the Bridal Suite ONLY as early as 7 AM on the morning of the wedding. Access to the rest of the venue and the Groom’s Room will begin at the time on your contract. You will receive an addendum specifically for the Get Ready Rooms much closer to the wedding date that we will ask you to sign. The Bridal Suite is still relatively new and we are learning as we go so we do reserve the right to change the specific access time, but it is our intention to be able to offer you early access to that. In exchange for the early access time though, we are asking our couples to have all of their belongings removed from the suite by the beginning of the ceremony. We found this to be easy with our past couples because your vehicles will be parked right outside the suite. No access to the suite will be granted the rest of the evening. Your bridal party will stay at the venue after the ceremony (where the fun and the bar are!) and it will save you the hassle of cleaning and packing everything out at the end of the night when everyone is tired and has had plenty of fun for the day. There is a room in the back of the venue that is reserved for you to store items or take a break if needed. You will have access to that room from when the venue access starts to when your venue access ends.
The latest we ever let music and bar go is 10:30 in one of those many efforts to be good to our neighbors. We also require that the music and bar cut off time be early enough that it gives you adequate time to say goodbyes and gather your belongings without feeling rushed off the property at the end of the evening.
When planning your ceremony start time, there are several factors to consider. The time of year, the decision to include First Look photos and even the day of the week should all be taken into consideration.
What time should your ceremony begin?
The following is recommended if you are doing a first look and if you haven't decided to move the rental time up in the day.
If renting Thursday & Friday - 4:30 or after.
If renting Friday only 5:00 pm or after.
If renting Saturday between 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
If renting Sunday, 4:00 is the most ideal time.
If wedding date is in late October, November, December, January, February, or early March, please look at the time of sunset and discuss options with Haue Valley and your photographer. Again, we request that you have at MINIMUM 2.5 hours from the start of the rental time to the start of the ceremony. 3 Hours is more ideal.
If you are definitely not doing "first look" photos and getting married in these months we highly recommend you move your block of hours up. That question is below. We highly recommend first look photos. Both take a lot of pressure off your timeline and make the day more relaxed. (Speaking of photos, when you are talking to your photographer, make sure they know that Haue Valley is nestled in the hills, so the sun will set a little earlier than what it will show online.)
