Where It All Began

Bo played basketball at Southwestern Illinois College. Kasey happened to go to one of the games and the next thing she knew, they were both following each other on Twitter. The rest is history!

The Proposal

One chilly February night in 2020, Bo told Kasey that he planned a date night for them. The only thing he told her was to wear a dress. Bo parked about a mile from the restaurant and as they walked closer, he pulled Kasey aside, and under an awning by the Cincinnati Reds stadium and Johnny Bench statue - he began to speak, but he couldn’t seem to get all the words out (which made them both giggle). Shocking Kasey, Bo got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It was an emotional and meaningful moment for the both of them, so of course Kasey couldn’t stop crying. The next day Bo arranged for Kasey’s mom, sister, nephew, and best friend to surprise her at their home. It was a weekend the two wouldn’t forget!

The Wedding Details

Kasey and Bo lived in Ohio, with family from both Indiana and Illinois. When planning an out-of-state wedding, finding Haue Valley, a venue with the convenience of both the ceremony and reception in the same location, thousands of decor pieces to use, plus onsite getting ready options with a dreamy bridal suite and groom’s room - they were sold.

Their wedding was full of details - from the beautiful florals made by Bloomin’ Diehls to their elegant sweets table with delicious treats from Sugar High. Dinner was served by Pappy’s Smokehouse. Kasey and Bo capped their night off with dancing with family and friends to music provided by Applause Productions.
