Where it all began

Haylee and Austin’s story is a sweet one. They met in high school marching band. She was a freshman and he was a senior. Although Haylee wasn’t allowed to date until she was 16, Austin chose to wait a year for her. In the meantime, they developed a really sweet friendship that they both cherished.

The Proposal

Austin made a super elaborate plan to make sure Haylee had no idea the proposal was coming. Austin had flown Haylee’s sister, a professional photographer, in from California to share in the joy and capture the special moment in pictures. Then, on a trip to the Missouri Botanical Gardens, he popped the question! Afterward, they went out to sushi, where Austin set up lunch with their parents, grandparents, and Haylee’s sister.

The Wedding Details

This dreamy St. Louis wedding was a fun one! Haylee’s stunning dress with floral lace detailing and elegant vail came from The Bridal Shoppe. Austin’s fitted grey suit also came from The Bridal Shoppe. The beautiful and colorful florals were created by Stems. Two Mike’s provided dinner, while The Blue Owl Sweet Shoppe provided the desserts. Soundsational DJ kept the guests dancing and Clair Verret with Clair Alynn Creative captured the big day.
