A Vintage Wedding at Haue Valley
FEATURED WEDDING: Destyne & Matthew
September 14th 2018
“The two will become one. So they are no longer two, but one. Let no man divide what God has put together.” Mark 10: 8-9 (NLV)
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Destyne & Matthew met the way most young couples meet, through friends. Matthew’s friend had been dating Destyne’s friend at the time. The couple soon met, and found out that they had some things in common. They decided to take the leap and start dating. Eventually the couple felt sparks and hit it off!
THE PROPOSAL
Destyne & Matthew were spending some time in Castle Wood with Matthew’s family. The morning of March 26th, 2017 was a normal Sunday, The couple had gone to breakfast and church, then they decided that they were going to go for a walk. Matthew had taken Destyne to a higher part of a hill that over looked the fields, river and railroad. To better take in the lovely view, he handed her binoculars. Destyne began using the binoculars, and she saw something the made her stop short. There in the middle of one of the fields was Matthew’s sister standing with a sign. The same sign that Destyne and Matthew saw days before. The sign read “No longer two, but one Mark 10:8.” Destyne immediately turned to Matthew, there he was on one knee asking her to marry him.
