Having a Ball - A St. Louis Spring Wedding

April 7th, 2018
After planning for two years these two love birds tied the knot at Haue Valley. Stephani's maiden name was Ball, and they certainly had the time of their lives on their wedding day.

THe Proposal
Stephani had been asking Ryan every summer for three years to take her paddle boating. Ryan was hesitant to go before because of his aches, slipped disks, and tears in his body. He knew how strenuous it was on your knees. However, after three years, Ryan sacrificed the pain to ask the love of his life to marry him.
It was a typical Sunday morning that started off with bowling and lunch. To Stephani's surprise, Ryan was finally going to take her on a paddle boat ride. He took her to 370 Lakeside Park where they enjoyed their time together on the water. When they finally reached the middle of the lake, Ryan asked Stephani to marry him. Without a doubt, Stephani said yes.
A Note From the Bride
"Haue Valley is involved. I was telling Kristin that I base a lot of decisions on reviews, which I think most people do these days. Before I stepped foot onto Haue Valley property, I almost had my mind made up. When you go through, not only the venue's website, but also seeing reviews from outside parties that can't be controlled by Haue Valley and don't see a single regretful, disappointed bride or family, it speaks volumes. Ryan loves the outdoors. I never found myself to be that way, but when I turned the corner in the car and saw the beautiful arbor with the amazing view and knew everyone had great experiences, that was it. I knew that's where I wanted my wedding to be!"

Advice to Future Brides-To-Be
From Stephani
"Do not be afraid to ask questions, send e-mails, and make phone calls. Make sure you are confident. It's important for you and your vendors are on the same page, even if it means you feel like your being a "bother" to them."
