A Brunch of Love at a Midwest Missouri Wedding
Featured Wedding: Cassandra & Bryant
April 29th, 2018
Where It All Began
Cassandra and Bryant met the first day Bryant moved to St. Louis from Arkansas. Cassandra was helping two of her friends move into their new place, and Bryant was their third roommate who was moving in as well. They got to chatting and while he became interested in Cassandra, Cassandra felt like he was the perfect fit for her friend. Cassandra decided she would try to set up Bryant and her friend on a date. Cassandra invited Bryant and her friend to a group hang out at the Whitaker music festival. During the festival, it became clear that Bryant was interested in Cassandra.
The Proposal
Bryant secretly flew in both his and Cassandra's family from out of town. He took Cassandra to the Botanical Gardens and planned to propose in a specific spot in the Climatron. Before they arrived to that particular spot, their families hid a video camera in the bushes and they hid around the corner. When Bryant proposed, Cassandra was so shocked she didn't even say "yes" at first. Instead, she just said "thank you so much!" After Bryant proposed, their families came rushing out and surprised Cassandra.
